Feels like entering a house initially, you pass through to the rear of the building. The dining is in covered areas outdoors, so on a chilly day take a jumper or coat, but this is entirely wort it.
A sheltered location with cosy covered areas full of beautiful plants leads to a garden of "rooms" with tables and chairs. More covered areas here to - so even if it is raining still take time to investigate.
The food is good, plentiful, tasty and a good size. The cream teas are double sized, so beware if you are watching the waist line (half sized teas available ). Parking nearby can be tricky, but drive a little way through the village in either direction and some on street parking can usually be found.
Not suitable for those with restricted mobility or wheelchairs due to access only by steps.February 10, 2017
